1. Who we are
Fairexa is a money management app operated from Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: care@farexa.com.
Fairexa is built and run by InvoZeal Technologies. InvoZeal Technologies’ registered company details are to be confirmed before publication.
2. What we collect
Account: name, username, e-mail address, optional phone number, profile photo or avatar, language, country, currency and settings.
Money records you create: expenses, income, recurring schedules, budgets, payments, categories, notes and attachments such as receipts.
Groups and chat: group membership, messages, voice notes, images and files, reactions and delivery status.
Security and device: password hash, two-factor settings, session details (device name, IP address, last used), push tokens, and the app version.
Diagnostics: server logs and crash reports, which can include an error message, route, platform and IP address.
3. How we use it
To run the app: show your records, calculate balances, budgets and analytics, convert currencies, sync across devices and send the notifications you allow.
To keep it safe: sign-in protection, rate limiting, abuse prevention and handling chat reports.
To fix problems and improve reliability using logs and crash reports.
4. Who can see what
Income, income sources and personal budgets are private to you.
Members of a group can see that group’s expenses, payments, edit history and chat. Anyone who joins a group may be able to see its history, so share invite links with care.
People you add by name who have no account appear as guests in your groups. Only add people you know.
5. Optional bank-alert detection (Android)
If you choose to turn it on, the app reads notification text on your phone to spot bank alerts and suggest expense drafts. Reading and parsing happen on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you save the resulting expense or draft. You review each suggestion first, and you can turn this off at any time.
6. Sponsored offers
The Home screen may show offers clearly labelled Sponsored. Impressions and taps are counted by Fairexa itself, with your user ID and platform, to measure the feature. No third-party advertising network is used. Tapping an offer opens the advertiser’s site, which has its own privacy practices.
7. Website cookies and analytics
This website asks before using analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics count visits, clicks and time on page so we can improve the site. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. The Fairexa app itself uses no advertising or analytics SDKs.
8. Service providers and transfers
We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service to deliver notifications, an e-mail service to send codes, links and reports, and a public exchange-rate service that receives only currency codes.
Our servers are located in a country that is to be confirmed. Where data is transferred internationally, we will describe the safeguards here.
9. Security
Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Sign-in sessions expire, can be revoked from Settings, and can be protected with two-factor sign-in, a PIN or biometrics. Uploaded files are served only to authorised users. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. How long we keep data
Deleted expenses, income, payments, groups, messages and attachments are removed after 30 days. Server logs are kept for 30 days. When you delete your account there is a 30-day window to restore it, after which your personal data is deleted. Records that other people rely on, such as shared expenses and group chat, stay in the group with your name replaced by “Deleted user”.
Retention periods for crash reports, old sessions and backups are being finalised and will be stated here.
11. Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, export your data from Settings, delete your account, turn notifications off, block people in chat and revoke sessions.
To ask for access, correction or deletion beyond what the app offers, write to care@farexa.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law.
12. Children
Fairexa is not intended for children. The minimum age is to be confirmed before publication.
